大垌水村是阳春市合水镇下辖的行政村，村落建于清同治年间山谷之中。1958年随公社化改为大垌水大队，1999年3月4日经阳春市人民政府批准设立大垌水村委会。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清同治年间（1862年—1874年），人们在山谷中建立大垌水村。1951年，该地属平中乡东部的山村；1958年公社化时改为大垌水大队。1983年设乡政府，1986年起称村委会，其后于1989年改为管理区。经阳春市人民政府批准，于1999年3月4日设立大垌水村委会，此名延用至今。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年12月，大垌水村入选「第一批国家森林乡村」名单。该村于2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
