安民村是阳春市春湾镇下辖的行政村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记述了与村名相关的一段历史：元朝末年，新围等村庄的莫姓先人组织起义，推翻了阳春县城里的元朝官府，驱逐蒙古族官员，并以“保境安民”相号召。明朝编修的《阳春县志》称其首领为「莫安民」[1]。

1951年，经大小河乡农会干部建议，设立安民乡。此后1958年改为大队，1983年改设乡政府，1986年转为村民委员会，1989年改成管理区。1999年，安民村委会正式成立，沿用至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，安民村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。2020年8月，安民村被列为广东省“一村一品”的第一批专业村，主产青枣[1]。
