地名由来[edit]

明永乐年间（1403至1424年），苏姓族人从新兴县迁来建村，村名仍沿用古名「那哨」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年设新团乡，1958年称大队，1983年设乡政府，1986年成为村委会，1989年称管理区。[1]

1999年3月，阳春市人民政府同意组建新团村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，新团村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
