地名由来[edit]

清康熙年间（1662至1722年），村落建在漠阳江上游的龙湾河西岸。村里设有大水车提水灌田，因此称大车村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1977年自新光大队析出，另设大车大队。其后，1983年为乡政府，1986年为村委会，1989年称管理区。[1]

1999年3月，阳春市人民政府同意组建大车村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]

2023年10月，大车村获评阳江市2023年度卫生村。[1]
