历史沿革[edit]

清道光四年，人们在塘犁山脚的竹林地上建村，取名新竹村。1987年，新竹村从光菜大队分解出来，另设村委会。1989年，该村改为管理区。1999年3月，经阳春市政府批准，新竹村委会正式设立。[1]
