历史沿革[edit]
明天顺二年（1458年），官府把93家广西狼兵（瑶、壮族）安置在罗宋岭北侧，这里是云浮、罗定与阳春三地交界的要冲，移居者繁衍生息，逐渐与汉族融合。[2]
民国时设阳三乡。1958年组建阳三大队，1961年自河㙟大队析出，另设阳三公社，1964年又并回阳三大队。1983年为乡政府，1986年为管理区。1999年3月5日，阳三村委会经阳春市政府批准设立。[2]
大岩自然村在解放战争时期是游击区，属革命老区，村中建有红色文化广场。[1]
文化[edit]
「2023年度阳江市卫生村」授予新寨村（2023年10月）；大岩村于2021年12月获「2021年度阳江市卫生村」称号。[2]
