石上村的前身是1956年以前的磐石乡，1957年析为石上、三丰两个社。1999年3月4日，经阳春市人民政府批准，石上村委会设立。[1][2]

百度百科据2007年的数据称，村中有980户，耕地约3400亩，水田与旱地分别约1800亩和1600亩。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，省里公布的民主法治示范创建单位名单上有石上村。2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把石上村列为2021年省级乡村治理示范村的创建对象。[1]

2023年1月，石上村被列入第九批全国民主法治示范村名单。同年11月，它获得第三批全国乡村治理示范村的认定，同月还入选广东省百千万工程的首批典型名单。[1][2]
