东水村位于阳西县新圩镇，城乡分类属村庄（代码220）。村委会地处东水山中，村名由此而来。2019年至2024年间，该村先后列入多项省级及国家级名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

东水在1949年时属阳江县六区，1961年5月起划归儒洞区禾塘人民公社，1963年2月划归新墟人民公社。1967年设东水革命委员会，1980年变为生产大队管委会，1983年开设东水乡，由新墟区管辖。1987年2月成立村委会，1988年阳西建县后隶属新墟镇，1989年建立管理区，1999年村委会重新设立，名称沿用至今。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，东水村获广东省文化和旅游厅认定，列为首批文化和旅游特色村。[1]

2019年12月，东水村列入第一批国家森林乡村名单。[1]

2020年8月，广东省农业农村厅公布首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村名单，东水村以茶叶入选。[1]

2021年12月，阳江市2021年度卫生村名单中，东水村的照田坡村与龙溪村入选。[1]

2023年11月，东水村被列为首批“百千万工程”典型县镇村之一。2024年4月，东水村进入第一批广东省乡村振兴示范村的创建名录。[1]
