马车村位于阳西县新圩镇，城乡分类属村庄（代码220），与田安村、新圩村、湴陂村等村相邻。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
马车在1949年属阳江县七区，1953年改属十七区，1956年划入儒洞区，次年恢复乡建制，归儒洞乡。1958年底并入人民公社，1959年成立马车生产大队，1961年改由新墟人民公社管辖。1983年开设马车乡，由新墟区管辖管辖；1987年转为村委会，隶属新墟镇；1989年变为管理区，至1999年才重新设立村委会，名称沿用至今。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2023年4月公布的乡村治理示范名录中，马车村列于2022年度广东省乡村治理示范村之内。[1]
2026年1月，马车村被列为第二批百千万工程典型村（广东省）。[1]
阳江市2021年度卫生村名单中，马车村的二队与一队均有入选，名单公布于2021年12月。[1]
