南山岭村是上洋镇的一个行政村，1999年村委会恢复，此名沿用至今。上洋文笔塔矗立于南山岭上，与本村同名。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年属阳江县第七区，1953年改入第十六区南堡乡；1956年归上洋区。1958年5月隶上洋乡，同年12月转入儒洞人民公社。[2]

此地1959年改称南山岭生产大队，同年10月回到上洋人民公社；1979年曾划为河北人民公社辖地；1983年设南山岭乡，隶上洋区。1987年2月村委会组建，归上洋镇；1988年阳西建县后属阳西县上洋镇；1989年改为管理区；1999年村委会复设。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

上洋文笔塔始建于清嘉庆十二年（1807年），后毁。民国三十年（1941年），姚世俨为纪念孙中山重建此塔，青砖砌成，重建时为七层。1969年夏，塔顶层遭雷击，现存六层。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年，南山岭村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2023年4月公布的2022年广东省「乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单中，本村在列。2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村称号。[1]
