双鱼村是上洋镇的一个行政村，1986年改设双鱼村委会，1999年复设，名称沿用至今。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年属阳江县第七区；1953年改入第十六区，并设双鱼乡；1956年归上洋区。1958年5月隶属上洋乡，同年12月划入儒洞人民公社。[2]

此地1959年成为双鱼村生产大队，隶上洋人民公社；1983年称双鱼城乡，属上洋区。1986年才设村委会，归上洋镇；1988年阳西分县后归阳西县上洋镇；1989年改为管理区，1999年村委会重设。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，省农业农村厅评出的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村中，双鱼村以西瓜入列。2023年11月，村庄入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；2024年1月，它被认定为2023年度省级民主法治示范村。[1]

2024年4月，村庄被列为广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建对象；2025年3月，它被授予第七届全国文明村镇称号；2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
