胡荔村位于阳西县程村镇，城乡分类上是镇乡结合区。村委会驻地在胡家寨村和荔枝根村之间，村名各取两村首字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月此地属阳江县六区，同年11月成立团结行政村。1953年设胡荔乡，隶阳江县十二区。1956年划入程村区，1958年5月属程村乡，同年11月并入大跃进人民公社，12月改归织篢人民公社。[2]

1959年设胡荔生产大队，同年10月划入程村人民公社。1967年成立胡荔革命委员会，1983年设胡荔乡，1987年2月组建胡荔村委会，1988年阳西建县后隶属程村镇。1989年起称胡荔管理区，1999年9月恢复胡荔村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年度「阳江市卫生村」名单中有荔枝根村（2021年12月确定）；2023年度的同名荣誉则授予胡家寨村、光德里村、高岗村（2023年10月确定）。[1]
