豪光村位于阳西县程村镇，村委会驻豪山村。豪山之名与沿海滩盛产蚝有关，「豪」字与「蚝」字读音相同。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年11月成立豪光行政村，归阳江县六区。1957年2月改为大乡，1958年11月并入大跃进人民公社，1963年划归程村人民公社。[2]

1967年起设豪光革命委员会，1970年改称豪光生产大队。1983年春撤大队，设豪光乡，归程村区管辖。1987年2月组建豪光村委会，1988年阳西建县后隶属阳西县程村镇；1989年9月改为豪光管理区，1999年9月恢复豪光村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年度「阳江市卫生村」名单中有边海村，于2021年12月确定。2019年9月，豪光村列入2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。2026年1月，豪光村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」称号。[1]
