地名由来[edit]

因仓面村与新屋地村都是大村，两村各取一字，合为仓新村之名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1953年，仓新属阳江县第十三区仓新乡。1958年改称仓新大队，隶属织篢人民公社。1983年设仓新乡，1987年2月改为村委会，1988年归阳西县织篢镇。1989年10月改设管理区，1999年9月恢复村委会，名称沿用至今。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，仓新村委会所辖的马岭场村被确定为「2021年度阳江市卫生村」。[1]
