奋兴社区位于织篢镇镇中心区，因靠近奋兴中学而得名。[1]社区的前身是织篢乡下的居民组织，此后几经更名，2003年才定名为织篢镇奋兴居委会。[3]

地名由来[edit]

社区位于奋兴中学附近，故以学校之名命名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年12月，此地设立织篢乡。1958年11月起，这里称织篢居民大队；1983年1月改称织篢街道居委会。1999年12月，该处改由织篢镇管辖，称奋兴街道居委会。2003年1月8日，居委会更名为奋兴居委会，此名至今未变。[3]
