端逢村是广东省阳江市江城区埠场镇下辖的行政村。博雅地名网记，相传古时英、罗两姓迁来此地建村，村名寄寓两姓人家相逢相合、品行端正的意思。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年11月，端逢建为行政村，隶四区埠五乡；1953年改属十区埠场乡。1956年并入平冈区，1957年改属平东乡，1958年属平冈乡。[2]

1958年11月设端逢管理区，隶东风人民公社；1959年改设埠场生产大队管委会，同年改属平冈人民公社。1961年5月属埠场人民公社，1963年又回平冈；1967年8月设埠场生产大队革委会，1975年6月改属埠场人民公社。[2]

1980年12月，革委会撤销，名称换为端逢生产大队管委会。1983年，大队改设端逢乡，隶埠场区；1987年2月端逢乡改村委会，后成为管理区。1988年隶江城区埠场乡，1993年埠场乡改镇；1999年4月村委会复设，村仍归埠场镇。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，端逢村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。博雅地名网还列有：2021年12月，莫屋村获评「2021年度阳江市卫生村」；2023年10月，罗屋村获评「2023年度阳江市卫生村」。[1]
