埠场镇是广东省阳江市江城区下辖的镇，镇人民政府驻埠场圩社区，全镇辖1个社区和9个行政村。[1][3][4]

1990年10月起埠场镇属江城区，1993年11月由埠场乡改设为镇。全镇面积各家数字不同，博雅地名网记为约62.3平方千米，百度百科记为75平方千米。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，埠场镇名取自镇人民政府所在的埠场。明清时，这片地方分属端逢、那贡、雁村三个都的一图，另有归善乡和太平乡的若干图。[1][2]

此前，1956年12月起这里称平东乡，归平冈区管辖；1958年11月先隶东风公社，同月转归平冈公社。1961年5月，平冈区分出埠场公社；1963年撤区，埠场公社并回平冈公社。1975年6月，埠场公社再次从平冈公社划出。[2]

1983年11月，埠场公社撤销，改设埠场区；1987年2月撤区，改为埠场乡。1988年阳江设市，埠场一度隶属阳东区，1990年划入江城区，1993年由乡改为镇。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

两家资料对埠场镇的方位说法不一。博雅地名网认为它在江城区西南，地貌兼有丘陵与平原，东面靠近漠阳江西支河，南面濒临南海；百度百科则说它在江城区中东部，东边隔着漠阳江出海口与阳东的雅韶镇相望。[1][3]

两家都说西面与平冈镇相邻；百度百科称北面与城西、岗列两个街道接壤，博雅地名网则写作城西镇。镇域近海，海洋资源丰富，养殖业较为发达。[1][3]

人口与经济[edit]

百度百科以2019年末户籍人口42689人为准。博雅地名网则引用第七次全国人口普查结果，记埠场镇人口约1.74万人，其基本介绍又作总人口3.4万人；维基百科页面给出27620人，未注明年份。各数字的口径不同，这里并列列出。[1][3][4]

据百度百科，2019年全镇有工业企业112个，营业面积超过50平方米的综合商店或超市5个。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

关山月故居是镇内最主要的名胜。关山月为岭南画派的代表画家，博雅地名网把故居列入埠场镇的文化旅游条目，只写它位于江城区。据一篇游记，故居在果园村四巷，又名「隔山书舍」，馆内分为陈列旧物的生活馆和展示书画作品的作品馆；博雅地名网的那蓬村条目列有果园村。[1][5]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，埠场镇获得「2021年度阳江市卫生镇」称号；2024年3月，全镇获「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」称号。[1]
