阮西村是广东省阳江市江城区城西街道下辖的行政村，位于街道南部，东临漠阳江出海口，下辖9个自然村。[2]

地名由来[edit]

原漠阳江东边的阮屋称为阮东，河西边的称为阮西，故以方位命名。[4]

沿革[edit]

明弘治十三年（1500年），阮氏由阮屋迁到今址建村，称阮西。1949年11月设阮西行政村，属一区西北乡，1953年属一区新阮乡，1956年12月起属附城区城西乡。1976年，阮东与阮西一度合称新风大队，次年又分开。1983年撤公社，改设阮西乡，属城西区。[3]

1987年阮西乡改为村委会，后又改为管理区；1999年8月复设村委会；2003年改属城西街道。[3]

自然环境与生产[edit]

村庄地处漠阳江出海口西岸，形成咸淡水交汇的环境。村集体经济以“水稻+禾虫”生态种养为主，据百度百科，2023年集体经济收入为42.62万元；村内推行“地票”机制和积分制。[2]

革命历史[edit]

阮西是革命老区村。解放战争时期，村庄曾是中共罗琴区工委武工队的据点，游击根据地旧址有上寨、新村等处，至今仍在。2024年10月，村里挂牌成立党史学习教育基地。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，阮西村入选广东省农业农村厅公布的首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村名单（丝苗米）。据百度百科，2023年村庄入选“百千万工程”典型村培育对象，并获评广东省民主法治示范村。进入2026年1月公布的广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村之列。[1][2]
