冲表村是广东省阳江市江城区城西街道下辖的行政村，城乡分类为村庄。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村庄建在河涌（冲）边，故称冲表。村民又因与邻村有过积怨，取为人师表之意，要求邻里和睦、以身作则，因而得名。[2]

沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1508年，林谏、林威兄弟一行十八人由福建莆田迁入阳江县城，其中一支于那马河（漠阳江西河埠场段）岸边立村，起名涌表。新中国成立初，此村为涌表行政村，隶四区埠五乡。1953年与端逢合并为端涌乡；1961年分设涌表、端逢两大队，1963年改称冲表生产大队，划归城西公社。[1][2]

1987年冲表乡改为村委会，后又改为管理区；1999年4月复设村委会；2003年8月改属城西街道。[1]
