龙涛村隶属阳江市江城区城北街道，为城乡结合区中的一个行政村，邮政编码为529500。[1]
村名与漠阳江有关：河水流经村边，水急势猛，相传有龙在此跃起，故名。[1] 2014年9月9日，该村划归城北街道管辖。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
此前该地称八保，隶属八区塘围乡。1949年11月设为龙涛行政村，1958年11月称龙涛管理区，之后经历生产大队、革委会和管委会等体制。1983年设龙涛乡，属岗列区；1987年改为村委会，后又改为管理区，1999年5月4日复设村委会。[2]
2019年9月，村子入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
经济[edit]
据百度百科，村里建有阳江市智慧农业基地，相关产业年销售额超过7500万元，带动300多户村民就业。[3]
