东坝村位于东源县涧头镇东侧，是镇下辖的行政村，与洋潭村、新坝村、乐平村等相邻。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

新丰江水库修建之前，这里有顺天河两岸的大坝，村在涧头以东，村名由此而来。[1]

1958年为东坝大队，1983年改设东坝乡，1987年改为东坝管理区。1999年经县里批准设立东坝村委会，沿用至今。[1]

2004年，大禾塘村并入本村。[2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，东坝村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
