新坝村位于东源县涧头镇境内，是镇下辖的行政村，与东坝村、洋潭村、乐平村等相邻。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

建村时间晚于东坝村，故称新坝。[1]

1958年时属东坝大队，1959年自东坝大队析出，另设东新大队。1983年改设新坝乡，1987年改为新坝管理区。1999年经县里批准设立新坝村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，新坝村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
