涧新村位于东源县涧头镇境内，是镇下辖的行政村，与涧头村、礤娥村等相邻。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

该村建得较晚，所以取名涧新。[1]

1958年为涧新大队，1983年改设涧新乡，1987年改为涧新管理区。1999年经县里批准设立涧新村委会，沿用至今。[1]

产业与荣誉[edit]

涧新村因种植蓝莓，入选2021年9月公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]

2024年3月，涧新村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
