历史沿革[edit]
1953年此地称第九区梅龙乡，1958年改称梅龙大队，1983年改称梅龙乡，1987年设梅龙管理区。1999年经县政府批准设立村委会，沿用至今。[1]
革命旧址[edit]
1939年8月，中共河源县工作委员会（县工委）在河源县城成立，隶属中共东江特委。1940年1月，县工委驻地由县城迁到黄村镇梅龙村。[2]
河源县工委旧址位于梅龙村坳头小组，即李作新屋，是围屋样式的建筑，始建于清代早期，墙体下段夯土、上段青砖，属砖木结构，占地约960平方米。[2]
