黄村坳村是东源县黄村镇下辖的行政村。因村子位于黄村镇地势较低的坳地，村名取为黄村坳。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年此地称第九区黄村坳乡，1957年为黄村乡下的黄村坳小乡，1958年改称黄村坳大队。1983年改称黄村坳乡，1987年设黄村坳管理区，1999年经县政府批准设立村委会，沿用至今。[1]
