三洞村是东源县黄村镇下辖的行政村，村子位于山区，穿村而过的是三洞河。村名中的「三」与「山」同音，而「山」在当地方言中意为偏僻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年此地称三洞乡。1961年因新丰江电站修建，辖区全部移民并重新划分，谢洞与三洞一度分设大队。1983年改称三洞乡，1987年设三洞管理区，2005年1月改称三洞村委会。[1]

三洞河碧道[edit]

三洞村曾是广东省定贫困村，村子的地形是「八山一水一分田」。2021年前后，村里借乡村振兴和广东万里碧道建设的机会，整治穿村的三洞河：疏通河道480米，巩固护坡106米，兴建18米长的拦河坝，并提升了污水处理能力。[2]

工程由广东省科技厅帮扶，并有爱心企业参与。整治后的河段长约两公里，形成生态碧道，河边种有簕杜鹃，白鹭也常在水面活动。[2]
