祝岗村是东源县黄村镇下辖的行政村。村后山岗上生长着大片竹林，因「竹」与「祝」同音，村名取为祝岗。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年此地称祝岗小乡，1958年改为祝岗大队，1983年改称祝岗乡，1987年设祝岗管理区。1999年经县政府批准设立村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

祝岗村列入2019年广东省卫生村名录，时间为2019年10月。[1]
