正昌村是东源县黄村镇下辖的行政村。村名的来历是当地人品行端正，村民希望此地日益昌盛，故取名正昌。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年，此地属第九区正昌乡；1957年归黄村乡，称正昌小乡；1958年改为正昌大队。1983年改称正昌乡，1987年改设正昌管理区，1999年经县政府批准成立村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

正昌村于2024年3月获评：2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
