高楼村位于义合镇境内，属该镇的行政村之一。村中大半居民姓高，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该村在1958年编为高楼大队，1983年改为高楼乡，1987年改设高楼管理区。1999年，东源县政府同意设立高楼村委会，此后延续至今。[1]

2024年3月，高楼村获得2023年广东省卫生村的称号。[1]
