义合镇属广东省河源市东源县管辖，在县域东南一带，地处东江上游与中游之间，离河源市区约20千米。全镇下辖1个社区和9个行政村。[1][2]

镇内两处主要旅游点，一是阮啸仙故居，二是苏家围一带的客家乡村旅游区；此外还有大人岭、白马两处战斗遗址。河梅高速公路、京九铁路和广梅汕铁路自镇境穿过。[1][2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名原作「贰合」，因久社河（当地称久社沥）与东江在此汇合而得名。明洪武年间，苏、缪等姓人家迁居于此，彼此扶持，讲求情义，遂改称「义合」。[1]

清初此地隶属河源县蓝能都的久社约，同治年间改属大洲都的久社约，民国时为久社乡。1951年设义合乡，归第十区管辖，区所在地为义合圩；1957年另设义台乡。[1]

1958年秋，本地组成义合公社。进入1980年代后，公社体制取消，先改设为区，1987年又改为镇。1988年改隶河源市郊区，1993年划归东源县。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全镇面积约176.77平方千米，其中耕地约0.91万亩，山地约21.4万亩。东江与久社河在苏家围一带汇合。[1][4]

人口民族[edit]

全镇人口约8000人，按第七次人口普查的数字，在东源县各镇街中排第十四位（博雅地名网2021年6月的统计）。[1]

经济[edit]

镇内的特产见于博雅地名网所列，有东源板栗、盐焗鸡、东江盐鸡和水晶鸡。[1]

2026年1月，曲滩村和香溪村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村；同年3月，义合村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[11][12][13]

交通[edit]

河梅高速公路的出口位于曲滩村，距街镇不足1千米；京九铁路在镇内设有义合站。全镇村道已全部硬底化。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

苏家围客家乡村旅游区在东江与久社河交汇处，村中有客家古民居、苏氏宗祠和迎亲桥等，被评为国家4A级旅游景区。[3][4]

阮啸仙故居位于下屯村。该故居1989年获广东省政府批准，定为省级重点文物，2002年经省里重新核定公布。[5][6]

义峰苏公祠在苏围村，为河源市文物保护单位，始建于明末，原是宋代苏东坡后裔苏义峰的光化堂，后改为祠堂。[7]

1948年10月，粤赣湘边区的武装在义合白马税站附近伏击国民党护航大队护送的物资船，歼灭一个连，并缴获大批物资。[9]

1949年1月，粤赣湘边纵队东江第二支队在曲滩村大人岭伏击国民党广东省保安第十三团，歼灭其两个连。[8]

著名人物[edit]

阮啸仙（1897年－1935年），原名熙朝，生于下屯村。他于1921年入党，后任中共赣南省委书记，1935年在赣南率部突围时牺牲。[5][10]
