青州镇是广东省河源市和平县下辖的镇，位于和平县西南部、粤东北九连山的腹地，距县城约36千米。镇域东邻合水镇，北靠热水镇，西、南两面与连平县接壤。全镇辖10个行政村和1个社区（居委会），辖区面积，据和平县人民政府网站为119.49平方千米，据博雅地名网为约152.6平方千米。[1][2][3] 维基百科也载其下辖1个社区、10个行政村。[5]

青州是革命老区。1947年前后，中共九连地区工作委员会和九连山游击队总部先后驻在永丰、山塘等村一带，留下多处革命旧址，是镇里最主要的历史遗存。[3][6][7]

历史沿革[edit]

明代中期，青州镇西南部属河源县，西北部属和平县的惠化图；此后，惠化与忠信的一部分地方划归连平县。民国中期，这一带曾有一段时间由河源、和平、连平三县合管。[2]

1949年，青州划归和平县，称青州乡。当年年初，连和县人民政府设于山塘村，辖境包括和西一带及连平的若干乡镇。[6]

1958年，青州与热水、浰源合并为九连公社；1961年分设青州公社，其后改称乡；1994年改设为青州镇。[2]

1947年3月，中共九连地区工作委员会（简称九连工委）成立，驻地设在青州永丰村一带。同年，九连山游击队总部设于斋公背，九连工委及游击队在青州组织了反“扫荡”斗争。1948年6月，九连工委改组为中共九连地区委员会。[6][7]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，青州四面有高山环抱，地形如同一片平底的盆地，土地肥沃，过去满山都是茂密的树林。人们登高远望，只见一片青色的绿洲，因此得名。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇域地势较高，平均海拔约475米，大部分高山在600米以上。[1]

据和平县人民政府网站，全镇耕地约8066.67公顷，山地约64600公顷，其中坡度在25度以下的山地约2200公顷。[3]

人口[edit]

和平县人民政府网站称全镇总人口约1.85万人，但未注明年份。百度百科载2017年末人口1.83万人，面积101.09平方千米（2017年）。[3][4]

田间种植的作物以茶叶、猕猴桃、百香果、花生与蔬菜为主。农业龙头企业方面，省级的有1家，市级的有2家，另有市级农民专业合作示范单位1家。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

青州革命烈士纪念碑位于镇街北面的小山上，为纪念解放战争时期在青州一带牺牲的革命者而建。据博雅地名网，碑身为方塔形，红砖砌筑，高7.8米，20世纪70年代修建，2002年重修；南面浮雕书有碑名，落款为郑群题字。[6]

镇内的革命旧址还有：中共九连工委军政干部培训班旧址（永丰村永兴围）、中共九连工委旧址（永丰村朝科）、九连山游击队总部旧址（永丰村斋公背）、九连山游击队交通情报站旧址（永丰村河洞围）和连和县人民政府旧址（山塘村）。[6][7]

博雅地名网还提到，镇内有明清时期建造的「蟹形围屋」，属客家古建筑；另有樱花茶园，以及猕猴桃、百香果等可供采摘的果园。[1]
