沙径村是绣缎镇下辖的行政村，地处连平县东端，与和平、东源两县毗邻。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村民大多住在一条峡谷地带，两侧是高山，因此取村名沙径。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国后到1959年4月，沙径隶属和平县公白公社。同年划入连平县大湖公社，设沙径大队。1978年绣缎公社成立后，沙径仍称沙径大队。[1][3]

沙径乡的设置在1983年，管理区则从1988年起设立，1999年才改为沙径村委会。[1][3]

人口与荣誉[edit]

据百度百科，村庄人口约1800人。[2]

沙径村于2024年3月获「2023年广东省卫生村」的命名。[1]
