右坑村位于连平县高莞镇。旧说，高莞一方与九连的左坑曾因山林争执打官司，判决输了。两边遂以左右相称，此地便取名右坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1978年自老高陂大队析出，设为右坑大队。1983年改设右坑乡，1988年改设右坑管理区，1999年改为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

右坑村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，由广东省爱卫会于2023年5月批定。[1]
