徐村是连平县高莞镇的一个行政村，原名池村。村名取自最早定居于此的徐姓人家；徐姓后来迁走，吴姓迁入，仍沿用“徐村”之名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此村先前归二联管辖，1958年公社化时独立成徐村大队。之后经1983年改乡、1988年改管理区，1999年成为村民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

在2023年4月公布的「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单中，徐村村位列其内。[2]

徐村村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，批定于2023年5月，授予方为广东省爱卫会。[2]
