水滣村是连平县忠信镇下辖的行政村，百度百科称它是镇内较大的村之一。村名的来历是这样的：据传明初黄氏始祖子礼公在小河畔安家，那时盗贼横行，他便在河边筑寨自保，寨名「水滣寨」，村名由此流传。2021年9月，村庄入选广东省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（沃柑）。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
建国后公社化时曾为大队，1985年设水滣乡，1988年改为管理区，1999年成为村委会。[2]
2026年1月，村庄获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
经济[edit]
村内经济以农业为主，主产沃柑。据百度百科，2023年6月，一项连平工业园二期基础设施工程获准占用该村约1.06公顷预留用地。[2]
