石背村是油溪镇下辖的行政村，因群山环绕、背靠铁矿石山而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清末，沈姓从福建迁入，黄姓来自双江镇，童姓来自石坪，他们相继在石背定居。1998年，石背管理区撤销，改设石背村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

广东省农业农村厅在2022年10月认定石背村为「2022年广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」（茶叶）。[1]

石背村于2024年3月获评「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
