长潭村是油溪镇下辖的行政村。忠信河从九连山流至本村时进入平缓河段，形成一段狭长的小潭，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清朝初期，何、黄、李、魏等姓先民迁来定居。1958年为长潭大队，1983年改设长潭乡，1988年划为长潭管理区，1998年以后改为长潭村民委员会。[1]

长潭村于2024年3月获评「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
