小溪村是油溪镇下辖的行政村，地处忠信河畔，多条溪流穿村而过，居民邻溪而居，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

公社化时期为小溪大队，1983年设小溪乡，1988年划为小溪管理区，1998年改称小溪村民委员会。1989年，上镇从小溪分出设村。[1]

2019年10月，小溪村进入2019年广东省卫生村名录；同年9月，广东省2018年民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单上有小溪村；2020年8月，小溪村列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（蔬菜）。[1]

经济[edit]

麒麟山农业生态园位于本村，是镇里引进外资发展的生态种养基地之一。[2]
