上镇村是油溪镇下辖的行政村，原属小溪村，位于小溪村上方。村所在的上半片地区也称油镇，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1989年，上镇从小溪村分出，取名上镇，同年设上镇管理区；1998年后改为上镇村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

2019年9月，上镇村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2024年3月，上镇村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
