永吉村是广东省河源市连平县田源镇下辖的行政村。村子原名“小席”，因与新丰县大席相邻，上世纪五十年代改名为“永吉”，取其永远吉祥之意。2026年3月，村庄被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地1976年起称永吉大队，1983年改设永吉乡，1987年改为管理区，1999年才设立永吉村民委员会[1]。

文化[edit]

改名的经过是：村里的老人觉得“小席”的叫法过于俗气，便召集村中有威望的长者商议，最终定下“永吉”一名[1]。

2021年1月，河源市文明委把「2020年度河源市文明村」称号授予永吉村[1]。2023年4月，永吉村名列「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单[1]。2024年3月，村庄获得「2023年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。2026年3月，它被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。

经济[edit]

村辖区内的河角坪农业生态园，园内以绿色有机蔬菜为主，兼种水稻和玉米[2]。
