镇南村位于广东省河源市连平县隆街镇，原名罗经村。据博雅地名网，土改时罗经村并入隆河村，因地处隆街墟的南边，改名为镇南村。[1]

沿革[edit]

1951年设镇南乡，1955年建初级社，1956年为高级社，1958年并入人民公社，称镇南大队。1967年成立革命委员会，1987年改为管理区，1999年5月管理区撤销，改由村委会管理。[1]

文物与荣誉[edit]

镇内的张义兴围屋位于镇南村，隆街镇政府网站将其列为省、县级重点文物保护单位。[2]

2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局公布的乡村治理示范村创建名单中有镇南村。广东省爱卫会于2023年5月把2022年广东省卫生村称号授予该村。[1]
