隆兴村位于广东省河源市连平县隆街镇，民国时称隆兴围。村名与隆街的来历相连：传说皇帝南巡渡河，改「龙过渡」，街名由龙津街改为隆兴街，「隆」「兴」二字寓意生意兴隆、兴旺发达，村因此称隆兴。[1]

沿革[edit]

1950年起称隆兴村，1958年改为隆兴生产大队。1984年隆街改设区政府，村委会随之改为乡政府，1990年又成为管理区办事处。[1]

纪念碑[edit]

隆街革命烈士纪念碑在村内朝山半山腰，距镇政府约1公里，碑身高7米，为纪念北江支队在隆街、溪山、田源一带牺牲的烈士而立。2010年7月，碑被连平县政府公布为重点文物保护单位。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年9月，隆兴村以砂糖橘入选第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。2024年3月，该村获评2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
