岑告村位于广东省河源市连平县隆街镇。每到夏秋之际蝉声齐鸣，村旁又藏有煤、铝矿和瓷土，人们称此地为「蝉窖」。「蝉」与「岑」、「窖」与「告」读音相近，遂写作岑告。[1]

沿革[edit]

解放前属沐河乡，建国后另设岑告乡。1958年建岑告大队，1987年改为管理区，1998年改由村民委员会管理。[1]

红色遗址[edit]

岑告山战斗遗址在村内岑告山，为红色旅游景点。1947年8月，江北人民自卫总队指挥部率部驻扎在仰凫塘一带，8月12日国民党军自四个方向来袭，双方在岑告山激战至当晚。据载敌军被击毙20人，我方牺牲2人。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年10月，岑告村名列2019年度广东省卫生村名录；同年9月，村庄在广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单中有名。[1]
