百高村隶属连平县溪山镇，在博雅地名网的分类中属镇中心区。村名原为早年聚居的「百家坳」，后经历史变迁改为现名。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

早年钟、黄、刘、谢四姓先民来此定居，聚居百户人家，称为「百家坳」。其后随历史变迁，改定为百高村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，百高并入软坑，成为软坑大队的一部分；1976年又独立出来，成立百高管理区；1986年取消管理区，1999年才设为百高村民委员会。[1]

村里实行文明整洁积分制，评分项目涵盖环境卫生和精神文明，每月评出一批文明整洁户。[2]

荣誉与产业[edit]

2021年9月，第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单中有百高，产业为百香果。2022年4月，本村团支部获「广东省五四红旗团支部」称号。2023年4月，省里公布的乡村治理示范村创建名单里有百高，其年度为2022年。2024年3月，本村获「2023年广东省卫生村」的命名。[1][2]

东水、溪西、百高三村曾计划把近2000亩农田整合起来，建立优质水稻种植基地。[3]
