名称由来[edit]
元朝时已有「丰盘坪」的称呼，当时即有人在此居住。此后有八姓人家在这里定居，农作物连年丰收，粮食有余，于是把地方取名丰盘坪，简称丰盘。据博雅地名网所载，2008年省考古队在丰盘坪的山塘边挖到过瓷器。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初期，这里先是丰盘乡；其后它与岐山、茶山两乡并在一起，组成茶峻乡政府。人民公社时期本地为丰盘大队，1999年起才有丰盘村民委员会。[1]
2019年9月，丰盘村上榜的是省里公布的2018年度民主法治示范村名单；2024年3月，本村获「2023年广东省卫生村」的命名。[1]
文化[edit]
牛形径战斗遗址位于本村牛形径，临近国道105线。1947年3月，江北人民自卫总队的飞虎队在此设伏，伏击前来围剿的国民党部队。2011年5月，连平县委、县政府立碑保护。[1][3]
