溪山镇隶属河源市连平县，地处县境西南部，靠近连平河中游。镇域与元善镇相邻于北，东南面连着田源镇，西南方向与隆街镇接壤；镇政府离县城约12千米。[1][2]

镇名「溪山」由原溪东与茶山两地合并而来，全镇下辖9个行政村，国道105线贯穿镇域。近年镇里以「生态果蔬名镇」为发展定位，并保留着春牛舞等客家民间文化。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初到1976年间，这片地方以南北分界：南段归隆街区，北段归惠化区。1976年7月设立溪山公社，1984年3月公社改为区建制，1986年冬区被撤销，改建为乡。[2][4]

镇名「溪山」由原溪东与茶山两地合并而来。[2][4]

地理环境[edit]

溪山地处连平河中游，国道105线穿过全镇，大广高速公路设南北两个互通口，离镇区都在8千米左右。[2][3]

连平县第三高峰石牙头位于镇内，海拔1286米。镇域内的自然景观包括陡峭山峰、瀑布、奇石与古树。连平河流经西南部，最后汇入新丰江。[3][4]

人口民族[edit]

溪山镇人民政府网站公布的户籍人口为1.75万人。各来源的人口数字并不相同：百度百科所载为2019年末户籍1.85万余人，维基百科页面的所据版本修订于2021年前后，写作总人口约1.58万人。[1][4][5]

镇里人讲客家话，音系与梅县话相近。[4]

经济[edit]

溪山镇提出以「生态果蔬名镇」为发展定位，重点培育国道105线沿线的生态果蔬产业带。以百香果、火龙果、草莓、三华李、小番茄和各类绿色蔬菜为代表的种植业已初具规模。[1]

镇里于2023年获得广东省乡村治理示范镇的称号；溪山镇于2021年1月获河源市文明委表彰为「2020年度河源市文明镇」。[1][2][4]

河源市派驻溪山的乡村振兴工作队，帮助镇里建起一条绕镇区一周的四级公路，名为环镇路，已竣工通车，如今是镇村居民进出镇区的主要通道。工作队还协助编制了镇域路网规划。[6]

文化[edit]

春牛舞是溪山流传的民间传统文化节目，表演融合农事动作与山歌对唱，戏词诙谐，带有浓郁的客家乡土色彩。它是首批「河源市非物质文化遗产」之一，流传已有数百年。[1][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

牛形径战斗遗址位于丰盘村牛形径，临近国道105线。1947年3月，江北人民自卫总队飞虎队在此设伏，伏击前来围剿的国民党部队。2011年5月，连平县委、县政府立碑保护。[7][9]

智毙“大炮焰”战斗遗址位于软坑村老软坑街，现为软坑小学一带。1948年12月，连南游击队在软坑圩击毙国民党软坑乡联防队队长叶盛焰。[8]

著名人物[edit]

叶少雄（1923—1948）是溪山下塘水人，出身贫苦农民家庭。1942年5月加入中国共产党，1946年春组织新连河边区游击中队，任中队长，队伍后改称连南队、飞虎队。1948年6月，他在水西战斗中牺牲。[9]
