资溪村是陂头镇下辖的行政村，位于镇北面。村名原为狮溪村，因村西南角有形似狮子的石山而得名。后因村中山林茂密、水源充足，地下蕴藏煤、铁、铝、锌等矿产，民国时已有人开采，遂改名资溪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1983年，本村属陂头区资溪乡；1987年属陂头分社，设资溪大队；1988年设陂头镇资溪管理区；1999年改设资溪村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

陂头文笔塔位于镇北约三公里处的帽子峰山顶。塔为明末所建，清道光十九年重修，塔身为六角形三层楼阁式，高13米，塔基为砖砌，底层设拱门。[1]

文化[edit]

2023年5月，本村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。2019年9月，本村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
