连星村是陂头镇下辖的行政村，属镇乡结合区。乾隆年间，谢氏先祖云浩在连塘岗上定居，村名“连星”由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1951年，此地为陂头乡划分的小区之一，属连上乡。1955年与1956年先后成立初级社、高级社；1959年与连光合并为连光乡，1961年分出设连星生产大队。1985年设连星乡人民政府，1987年设立村民委员会。1999年撤销连星管理区，设连星村民委员会至今。[2]
文化[edit]
2023年5月，本村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。2021年9月，本村入选广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产业为柑橘。[1]
