赤贝村位于龙川县麻布岗镇境内，是一个行政村。村名原意为“赤背”，因与“贝”同音而写作赤贝。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年，赤贝村的前身属赤化大队。1969年分出后成立赤贝大队；此后1983年改为乡，1986年改为村委会，1989年改为管理区。[1]
