阁前村隶属麻布岗镇，在龙川县北部，下设上阁、下阁和屏嶂三个自然村。该村被收入第八批广东省古村落名录，时间为2023年。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
据族谱记载，明代永乐年间（约1405年），杨氏族人从梅县杨居排迁到蛇山坪。明弘治年间（1494年），族中有人科场得中并出任官职，回乡后建了黄峰阁。村子建在黄峰阁前面，因此名为阁前。[1]
土地革命时期，阁前村属中央苏区的一部分，曾设阁前乡苏维埃政府，并有红军后备队在此建立。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村庄坐落于山谷之中，四周是岐山嶂、狮公崀山等山峰，阁前河由北往南穿村而过。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内留有明末至清代的客家围龙屋与方形屋等古民居群落。其中名为「司马第」的一处建筑在2010年被定为县级文物保护单位。另有古道、古树，以及7座清代炮台的遗迹。[2]
文化[edit]
广东省乡村治理示范村的名单在2024年收录了本村。[2]
「2019年广东省卫生村」名录于2019年10月收入阁前村；2026年3月，该村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
